Well… what can you say? It’s a St. Regis. Of course it’s fabulous! We stayed just one night, our last night in Florence. The concierge arranged for a car service to transit us to the airport early the next morning. The hotel is just beautiful and the staff were lovely. We ate at the Winter Garden and did “the ritual”. The food was amazing, as expected, but the service was bad none. It’s everything you expect from a St. Regis and then some. Our only complaint- not staying longer! We can’t wait to come back for an extended visit.

Not surprising but this is the best hotel we stayed in on the whole trip. Fantastic service and rooms. It is a historic building, so expect a more traditional and ornate aesthetic vs a modern hotel. Excellent walking access to downtown and the concierge made us dinner reservations and recommendations on what to do our first day. Couldn’t recommend this higher - top tier experience. Also don’t miss the extensive cocktail menu in the hotel bar that is open until midnight.

Great 5-star hotel in Firenze. On the expensive side but the rooms have great traditional charm, the inclusions are a treat including the evening complimentary drinks. EUR80 per night for a Roll away for a child is a little unnecessary considering the high price for small rooms. Lots of history in the building which the staff did a great job telling us about. Cocktail menu is a little dated. Breakfast was fairly typical, nothing amazing but plenty of options. Staff are on point. Great location, slightly away from the crowds of the main attractions but close to walk.

Amazing Hotel.we booked for 1 night two guests. We gad a wonderful experience from the time we arrived to the time of our departure. The hotel is beautiful ,well located and well maintained. The service is exactly what you would expect from 5 star hotel. Worth every penny.

This review is a bit late - we stayed in Feb. Our stay was fantastic in every way! Thank you St. Regis team for making it special. The breakfasts are a buffet (covid safe) as well as custom order, so we started off each day well fed. Our room overlooked the Arno River and we enjoyed time each morning and evening sitting with coffee taking in the view. Additionally, the staff was so helpful in assisting us navigating inside/outside seating at local restaurants, as we were wanting be away from crowds as much as possible.

Mediocre experience. I am saying that as a Titanium Elite Member. I am staying a lot in High End Hotels (sometimes over 100 nights per year), so I can compare it to others quite well. I used a lot of points for this stay and was not impressed. The rooms are good. We got on upgrade (even though not to a Suite, which was also a bit disappointing). The Service was very impersonal. No one asked how our stay was going. When we wanted to drop our bags at the end of our stay, the concierge desk employee asked us if we were guests in the Hotel. Even during the checkout there was no question about our stay. I also did not receive any questionnaire per email like a normal Hotel would send (that is why I am sending my review here). The service in the Hotel Restaurant was subpar. First breakfast, we were guided to our table. The waiter asked what we wanted to drink. 30 Minutes later (that is not a joke or exaggerated), we got the menu to order (there was no buffet due to the pandemic), tea and coffee. The Restaurant was 1/4 full. In between I called for a waiter and he waived at me and said I need to wait. In the evening we ate in the same Restaurant. The Fish for 50$ was way too salty. My partner ate a dish with was prepared on bread. It was almost impossible to cut. We ordered a steak knife and it was still a lot of work to just cut one piece out. Does the cook try his own dishes? The next day at breakfast it still took them 10 minutes to deliver just the menu. Why the person that guides you to your table not just simply grab the menus and give it to you while you are being seated, like in any other Hotel, is beyond me. For the price (points & cash) for this Hotel the service needs to be top notch, which it is not. Prior the start of the pandemic we just visited the St. Regis and Bali and the Ritz Carlton in Kyoto. There was simply no comparison to the service delivered in those Hotels compared to the St. Regis Florence. Unlike the other Hotels I will avoid this one in the future. I believe this is a shame as it would not take much to bring it up a level.

Everything about this hotel is fabulous and elegant. Beautiful rooms, a very friendly and helpful staff. Definitely the finest place to stay in Florence.

The front desk ladies were probably the nicest people we’ve come across on our travels, what gems! The concierge guys were great and very helpful. We forgot our passports in the safe, and all the staff couldn’t have been more helpful or accommodating with our mistake. I love interior design and get upset when hotels have badly designed spaces, but I had zero complaints with this place, it was beautiful. The breakfast room is gorgeous! All of the antique art and mirrors were so lovely. Our room was excellent and very comfortable. We will definitely stay there again next time we’re in Florence.

TOTAL SCAM , WESTIN BETTER, CHEAPER RIGHT ADJACENT On their website they advertise a “family package” for 1000 dollars advertised as 2 rooms to accommodate 4. We were lied to on their website and informed by the non-English speaking staff that the “family package” only gives one room, which is written in tiny font on the reservation. the same room costs 700€ on their website. Check in was only made harder by the staffs narrow language skills, the receptionist didn’t speak English, only Italian and some other Slavic language, and the Manager spoke English most of which I couldn’t understand. I almost forgot I was at ST REGIS !! Also, beware that if your a Marriott Platinum status your entitled upgrade upon avalibility will not be granted, regardless of availability as the hotel was half empty and they’re still selling the better rooms. Valet doesn’t help you with your bags, And don’t buy the Arno River view for 150€ it’s mostly a view of the alley across from you, or a view of a trashy river if your lucky. We must stay at Marriott hotels so the next night we took our luggage to Westin which is adjacent to the St Regis and HALF THE PRICE. The lobby and rooms were just as nice and the staff spoke English 😂. I’ve never thought this about any St Regis property but Don’t stay here.

I was wowed when I was escorted and shown to my room. Expect an elevated experience; absolutely jaw dropping elegance, like Michelangelo designed this hotel himself. Unfortunately, we had to deduct a star as the air conditioner never seemed to work properly (despite asking) and as such, trying to sleep in the evenings in a warm room was less than desirable.

If you have the budget to splurge on a 5-star hotel head straight to The St. Regis Florence or at least stop for the best cocktails in town. I highly recommend the Banana Cream Pie!

Very elegant hotel situated next to the river. The views from my balcony in the morning were amazing. The rooms were very spacious, the dining area was beautiful and the employees were very helpful and accommodating. Access to the rooms are still the old fashioned lock and key, and I like that because it gives that old style vibe to it compared to the modern key card we have today for hotel chains (This is a Marriott property btw). Also you're not allowed to take the key out with you if you decide to stroll out late at night for security purposes... I found that out the hard way 😅

Terrific hotel. Staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. They offer to help you every second they get. Water in the room, turn down service, wonderfully decorated rooms the place is a masterpiece. The breakfast they suggest in the dining room is on the expensive side. I didn't try it, but instead ordered room service which was quite affordable, much cheaper than the restaurant and delicious. I would definitely stay in your beautiful room and have breakfast delivered.
